The work "untitled (a dance of death)" by the artist Renée Magaña (1970) is different. The free-floating skeletal fragments on the three beige canvases seem harmless at first, almost ridiculous. Until the artist tells of how, this fall, 300-year-old graves were dug up at Schönberg in Bern, containing the mortal remains of executed criminals.
