Here we see Swiss Skeli in yet another new hat in front of the Wildstrubel (a.k.a. Lenker Strubel) Mountain. It is 3'244 m or roughly 10'643 ft. Alongside the Muveran, the Diablerets and the Wildhorn, the Wildstrubel is one of the four distinctive mountain massifs in the Bernese Alps west of the Gemmi Pass. 

Wildstrubel is another funny Bernese German word. "Strubel" means tangled, sticking up hair or a mop of hair. Imagine like when you stick your finger into an electrical socket. So basically it means: wild mess of tangled hair...

This postcard measures approximately 8.8 x 13.7 cm.

This postcard is from around 1940.

First published on February 4, 2024.

All cards mounted on white 250 g/m² paper with trimmed edges. Vintage postcard, overpainted with acrylic paint, no frame. Signed and dated in pencil on back. This can be easily erased in the event you want to use the card.

The cards are packaged in cellophane with an informative text about the history of the image on each card and when it was first published on Swiss Skeli's Instagram Account @the_calavera_club.

Please note that since these are antique postcards, some might contain small tears, pinholes and/or scratches.

Fleshy tries her best to lovingly craft each card, but sometimes a tear might be too close to the overall subject to cut it out. The actual colors might also differ slightly from your monitor.
